Dopamine v1.1.5 released with more user experience improvements

Anyone using the rootless Dopamine jailbreak tool on their A12-A15 iOS or iPadOS 15.0-15.4.1 device might be interested to know that there’s a new version available to take advantage of.

Dopamine v1.1.5 update.

Project lead developer Lars Fröder announced version 1.1.5 with a link to the GitHub page via a post shared to X Thursday morning:

From what we can gather, Dopamine version 1.1.5 isn’t a major update, but it pushes some important fixes that users could benefit from. The change log is as follows:

– Minor PPLRW improvements (better address translation, prevent process crashes when passing an invalid physical address)
– Remove some leftover debug logs in launchdhook from during the 1.1.3 development phase

Fröder also mentioned that this is likely one of the only updates we’ll see from him for the next several months.

If you’re an existing Dopamine jailbreak user, then you can simply open the app and update your jailbreak via the in-app over the air (OTA) updating mechanism.

Anyone who isn’t already taking advantage of Dopamine, and who would like to begin using it on their iOS or iPadOS 15.0-15.4.1 device can follow our step-by-step tutorial to get started.

We also have a comprehensive rundown about what a rootless jailbreak is and what it means for the end user, which might be an interesting read if you’re accustomed to more traditional rootful jailbreaks. Fortunately, most users shouldn’t notice much of a difference in their day-to-day usage.
