RoundDock Remastered lets you do interesting things with your iPhone’s Dock

If you’re in the mood for a Home Screen Dock that looks a little different than you’re accustomed to, then you might take an interest in a new and free jailbreak tweak called RoundDock Remastered by iOS developer Thomz.

Examples of RoundDock Remastered.

As you can see for yourself in the screenshot examples above, RoundDock Remastered gives jailbroken iPhone users the ability to customize their Dock, first and foremost by extending the Dock to the bottom of the screen, and then also by letting users customize the roundness of the Dock’s top corners and it’s color.

Once installed, RoundDock Remastered adds a dedicated preference pane to the Settings app where users are able to customize the tweak to their liking:

Things you can do here include:

  • Enabling or disabling RoundDock Remastered on demand
  • Configuring the roundness of the Dock’s top corners
  • Enabling or disabling a custom Dock background color
  • Choosing a custom color for use with the Dock

As you’ve probably already ascertained for yourself by the name of this tweak, RoundDock Remastered is a remake of a popular jailbreak tweak by iOS developer Brogan Miner from a much older time in the real of jailbreaking. Thomz received permission from Miner to make this tweak prior to making it.

Those interested in doing fun things with their jailbroken device’s Home Screen Dock can download RoundDock Remastered for free from the Chariz repository via their favorite package manager app. The tweak supports jailbroken iOS 14, 15, and 16 devices, including the rootless variety.
