Shimmer provides your Home Screen with a slick new set of app icons that focus on the lighting of each. This lends the illusion of a shimmer effect that you might see when natural light hits surfaces a certain way.
Shimmer uses vibrant eye-catching colors in each of its app icons, and provides more than 500 icons right out of the box with the promise of more to come.
The creator says that updates will be provided for the theme that add support for more icons and that users may request up to 10 icons at a time. The frequency of said updates depends on the creator’s availability, however.
Shimmer can be used with both jailbroken and non-jailbroken iPhones. Jailbreakers can use SnowBoard to apply the theme, while non-jailbreakers can use the Shortcuts app.
