Relic theme adds more punch to your Home Screen’s app icons

If you’re interested in a subtle, yet eye-catching theme for your iPhone’s Home Screen, then you might want to check out a new release called Relic by Shaun (zsy245).

Relic theme for iPhone and iPad.

At first glance, the app icons provided by Relic seem almost familiar, and that’s because they adopt a lot of design language from iOS’s native app icons. Even so, subtle differences in many of the icons including the use of shadows and emboss effects make them visually differentiating.

These effects make your app icons look and feel more tangible, almost like 3D objects instead of flat digital drawings as Apple’s own app icons appear as.

Right out of the box, Relic supports 197 app icons, which isn’t as many as some other themes we’ve showcased in recent memory, but the creator says that weekly updates will continuously add more. Users can also email the creator with app icon requests if they have app(s) that aren’t supported.

If you’re interested in trying Relic out for yourself, then you can purchase it for $2.99 from the Havoc repository via your favorite package manager app.
