Nexus brings an iOS 16-style Lock Screen customization experience to jailbroken iOS 14 and 15 devices

If you were almost tempted to jump from your jailbreakable firmware to iOS 16 because of all the different ways the Lock Screen can be customized on a stock device nowadays, then fret no more.

A newly released jailbreak tweak called Nexus by iOS developer iCraze brings a similar Lock Screen editing experience to pwned iOS 14 and 15 devices that looks and feels so familiar that you’ll almost forget you aren’t using iOS 16.

As you can see for yourself in the screenshot examples provided, Nexus lets you change the Lock Screen’s text font, size, color, alignment, and more for the date and time indicators individually of one another.

But more than that, it even lets you change the offset and delve into other goodies such as hiding distractions from the Lock Screen like the ‘No Older Notifications” text, the Face ID glyph, and confirmation buttons when using the flashlight and camera Quick Action buttons.

Once installed, the tweak will ask to activate and then respring your device. After you do, you’re greeted with a pop-up that teaches you to tap and hold on the Lock Screen to enter Nexus’ customization interface:

After you do bring up the customization interface, you’ll find that it’s separated into four groups, including Time, Date, Notifications, and Other, which we’ll discuss more below:
