Junipero is a macOS Big Sur-inspired theme for jailbroken & non-jailbroken iPhones

New to the Havoc repository this week is a Home Screen app icon theme called Junipero by graphic designer XerusDesign that draws a substantial amount of inspiration from the design language found in macOS Big Sur.

Juniper is a new macOS Big Sur inspired theme for jailbroken and non-jailbroken iPhones.

Compatible with both jailbroken and non-jailbroken devices, Junipero offers more than 200 carefully-crafted app icons and provides good looks via icon effects that play nicely with both dark and light mode.

The .zip file version of this theme can be installed on non-jailbroken devices via the Shortcuts app, which hides the official app icons into the App Library and instead adds the themed app icons as Shortcuts to the Home Screen.

The .deb file version of this theme, on the other hand, is installable on jailbroken devices via SnowBoard, and users may also install the optional SnowBoard Icon Effects Extension to add shadows to the app icons for an even more aesthetically pleasing effect.

According to the depiction page, there are several alternative icons in case you aren’t exactly pleased with one icon or another. The included Juniper Deluxe add-on can even put an “impactful” overlay over each app icon.

The theme has been under development for the last two years, and the developer is very proud to finally be releasing Junipero after so much hard work. It’s worth noting, however, that the developer plans to continue adding more icons to the package regularly as time goes on to make it feel more complete.

If you’re interested in trying Junipero out for yourself, then you can head over to the Havoc repository where you can grab it for $1.49 whether you’re jailbroken or not.
