New build of Sileo for XinaA15 jailbreak addresses default repositories not showing and package sorting issues

Sileo Team developer Amy While has pushed another update on Thursday for a separate build of Sileo intended specifically for the XinaA15 jailbreak tool for A12-A15-equipped devices running iOS or iPadOS 15.0-15.1.1.

Amy While of the Sileo Team announces an update for Sileo for the XinaA15 jailbreak.

Announced in a Tweet, While noted that the new release addresses a problem with package sorting and fixes the problem where default repositories weren’t being added to the package manager app by default like they should have been.

While also said that this and future releases of Sileo for the XinaA15 jailbreak would be distributed via a repository instead of as an .ipa file for TrollStore since it would be easier to distribute updates in this way.

That repository is as follows:

https://repo.anamy.gay/

In response to a question asking if users should delete the older build of Sileo that had been installed via TrollStore, While advised against it. The rationale appears to be having a backup package manager app in case something breaks in the newer release, which hopefully it doesn’t.

The Sileo update comes one day after the XinaA15 jailbreak received an update that made Saily a default-selected package manager app for XinaA15. Sileo can still be installed by the end user if desired.
