T-Mobile offering free Apple TV+ as a perk to subscribers
This limited-time offer is available to new and existing T-Mobile and Sprint customers on select plans beginning Wednesday, August 31, 2022.
One full year of unlimited access to Apple TV+ is included at no extra cost. To prevent unwanted charges, however, remind yourself to cancel Apple TV+ before your free period expires. Read: How to block YouTube on Apple devices
You can redeem T-Mobile’s offer even if you already pay for Apple TV+. In that case, your paid subscription will pause after you redeem this offer. Once your promotional period is over, Apple billing will resume unless you cancel the subscription.
Apple and T-Mobile even let you combine this offer with the three-month free trial of Apple TV+ that the iPhone maker offers when buying a new Apple device.
How to redeem one free year of Apple TV+ on T-Mobile
T-Mobile customers who are subscribed to the company’s Magenta Max plan, including business customers, can redeem the offer in the app and on the website.
Using the T-Mobile app:
- Log into the T-Mobile app.
- Go to the “Home” tab in the app.
- Touch a banner labeled “Get Apple TV+ on us for one year.”
- Read and accept the official terms and conditions, then click to redeem the offer.
Using the T-Mobile website:
- In your browser, log in to your My.T-Mobile.com account.
- Navigate to the “Account” section.
- Select your current smartphone plan.
- Find and touch the “Get Apple TV+ on us for one year” banner.
- Read and accept the official terms and conditions, then click to redeem the offer.

What does T-Mobile’s Magenta Max plan include?
Magenta Max is T-Mobile’s most expensive plan loaded with a bunch of perks. Subscribing to this plan will set you back $140/month for three lines, unlimited 5G data and 40 gigabytes of mobile hotspot data.
Aside from unlimited access to Apple TV+, other perks in Magenta Max include free Netflix (2 screens, HD), one year of free Paramount+, voicemail to text and more.
By comaprison, the regular Magenta plan gives you a hundred gigabytes of cellular data, five gigabytes of mobile hotspot data, a free six-month trial of Apple TV+, free access to Netflix (SD, 1 screen) and other benefit—all in exchange for $120/month.
