The HyperDrive Turntable Dock features a 360-degree swivel mechanism

This year’s Consumer Electronics Show is happening, but this year’s show is pretty much as quiet as last year’s. Thanks to the ongoing pandemic. Still, there are new accessories and products being announced this week, and some of them are directly related to Apple’s own devices.

For example, the brand new HyperDrive Turntable Dock. This is specifically designed for Apple’s brand new 24-inch iMac, and it features a built-in 360-degree swivel mechanism. Hyper says that the accessory is meant to make it possible to “easily share content on their screen, driving much needed collaboration, and providing the ability to seamlessly adjust their viewing angles for conference calls or streaming.”

This dock is designed to fit underneath the stand of the 24-inch iMac. And, as the name suggests, it will allow the computer to be rotated a full 360 degrees. The stand also features a built-in M.2 SATA/NVME SSD enclosure, which, according to Hyper, can provide up to 2TB of storage. That enclosure features a push-to-release element, making inserting and removing the expandable storage option very easy.

There are also a variety of different ports on the back of the dock, including HDMI, a MicroSD/SD slot, four USB-A ports, and a USB-C port.

The HyperDrive Turntable Dock is priced at $199.99. It will go live on Hyper’s website beginning Monday, January 3, 2022.
