Stash, Christmas Guide, TuneStalgia, and other apps to check out this weekend

It’s Christmas weekend, but we didn’t let that stop us from putting out another edition of our Apps of the Week roundup. This week we have some great selections for you, including a minimal link saver and an app that gives Apple Music users a Spotify Wrapped-like feature. And as always, we’ve picked a great new game for you to check out.

Stash List

It seems like there’s been a run of new link-saving apps here lately, and we’ve got another one to add to the list. Stash lets you clip items from any URL, from within any app via extension. And it automatically pulls title, description, image and link for you. The app has a sharp UI, as well as some pro features hidden behind a subscription service.

Christmas Guide – Dates & Carols

Ugh, I don’t love including a cheesy app like this in the roundup, but it’s the holidays so I figured why not. If you or someone you know is really into celebrating, Christmas Guide is probably for you. It includes everything from Christmas carols to historic dates and events, and it even has a ‘Who Am I?’ character assigner.

TuneStalgia: Music Memories

I hate the name TuneStalgia. H-a-t-e it. Ok now that that’s out of the way, the app itself is pretty clever. It gives you a look back at your Apple Music listening history, including the songs you bumped the most this year–similar to Spotify’s popular Wrapped feature. Now I’ve found the feature to actually be a bit buggy, but it’ll have to do until Apple comes up with something.

63 – puzzle race game

I absolutely love the concept here. 63 is a live puzzle game in which you compete against other people around the world in real time to find a password that will let you advance to the next level. And there will only be 63 live events ever. I haven’t caught an event yet, so I can’t speak to the gameplay or puzzle difficulty, but as I said, great concept!
