Apple TV+ recently shared another “Foundation” featurette that’s worth watching, which discusses “a character journey of epic proportions”. If you’re a fan of quality science fiction, you should do yourself a favor by giving “Foundation” a chance.

This Apple TV+ science fiction show is based on a book series by legendary writer Isaac Asimov, first published as a series of short stories in 1942–1950. Yours truly is a big science fiction fan so the thing that jumped out at me immediately was the fact that “Foundation” tells its vast story across the span of several centuries.

Filmed at Ireland’s Troy Studios, “Foundation” chronicles a band of exiles on their journey to save humanity and rebuild civilization amid the fall of the Galactic Empire. “Foundation” has been renewed for a second season and includes a companion podcast.

Showrunner David Goyer went on the records to say that this giant novelistic show will tell the whole story over the course of 80 episodes. The first seven episodes are already available to stream, with additional ones arriving every Friday.
