Apple TV+ hit comedy ‘Ted Lasso’ gets the official season 2 trailer ahead of July 23 premiere

Apple TV+ has a consistently good library of TV series and films to watch. However, when it comes to standout hits that get people talking, the selection is much smaller. Luckily for the streaming service, Ted Lasso is good enough to carry that weight.

For fans of the comedy series, which stars Jason Sudeikis in the lead role as Ted Lasso, we’ve known since April that the second season will debut on July 23, 2021. We got a teaser trailer at the time, giving us a hint at what to expect. Which, of course, is more of the same that made the first season so great.

That includes a ton of optimism, biscuits, and a lot of determination. You can check out the official trailer for season two just below.

Filling out the rest of the cast is Hannah Waddingham as Rebecca Welton; Brendan Hunt as Coach Beard; Jeremy Swift as Higgins; Phil Dunster as Jamie Tart; Brett Goldstein as Roy Kent; Nick Mohammed as Nathan Shelley; and Juno Temple as Keeley Jones, among others.

Ted Lasso‘s second season will continue to follow the eponymous head coach of a major football club as he struggles with the change of scenery, the life he left back in the United States, and coming to terms with how life has changed for him since taking the gig.

The official trailer for season two shows off what worked so well with the first season, and it stands to reason that it will work all over again. Are you looking forward to this one?
