Apple TV+ shares official trailer for the second season of ‘Dickinson’

Dickinson was one of the more positively accepted shows for Apple TV+ right out of the gate, and the first season ended strong. So of course a second season was picked up pretty quickly.

We learned back in October that Apple TV+ would premiere the second season of Dickinson, which stars Hailee Steinfeld (The Edge of Seventeen) as the eponymous Emily Dickinson, on January 8, 2021. And now, just a few weeks out from that date, we finally have the official trailer for the upcoming season to share with you.

This time around, the series features a quick description:

Fame is calling. Will she answer?

The series itself circles around Dickinson, her family, and her friends, all the while tackling things like gender and society. It’s a unique show, to say the least. The comedic series is a standout for its musical choices, the writing, and standout acting from Steinfeld and others. And, indeed, the ensemble cast is coming back for the second season. That includes Ella Hunt, Anna Baryshnikov, Jane Krakowski, Adrian Blake Enscoe, and Toby Huss. Whiz Khalifa, singer and songwriter, will be returning as Death, too.

And here’s the trailer:

Are you planning on checking out the second season of Dickinson when it arrives early next month?
