Back at the beginning of September, Apple officially unveiled the new, 7th-generation iPad with a 10.2-inch Retina display.

As such, new accessories are starting to pop up for the newest tablet family member. We’ve put together a list of the best folio cases you can buy right now for the new 10.2-inch iPad.

This case also offers corner protection, along with keeping the front and back of the iPad safe.

There is a built-in leather hand strap for carrying, and there is a pocket on the front that can hold various items like a few different ID-sized cards. There is a dedicated loop to hold the Apple Pencil as well.

There are a couple of stand slots for two viewing angles, and the case also features a magnetic closure for automatic Wake/Sleep functionality when the case is opened/closed.

It’s manufactured from a faux leather material on the outside, with a durable, non-deforming cover to protect the device. Inside, the case offers a “super-soft” microfiber surface, and the back cover is scratch-resistant.

The case is precision-built to perfectly fit the new 10.2-inch iPad, with precise cutouts, open port access, and “easy press buttons”. Apple’s folio Smart Cover for the 7th-generation iPad is constructed from a single piece of polyurethane, and, when closed, will protect the front of the tablet. It features the automatic Wake/Sleep functionality that most cases do, so the tablet will snap-to or go to sleep if you open or close it, respectively.

The Smart Cover offers two distinct viewing options, which can make either viewing content, making FaceTime calls, or typing easy and comfortable. It snaps into place on the side of the iPad quickly, too.

There are several different colors to choose from: Alaskan Blue, Cornflower, Papaya, Charcoal Gray, Pink Sand, and White. The Smart Cover for the 7th-generation iPad is available now from Apple.

It has a magnetic Smart Cover, which means it will automatically wake and sleep.

There is a built-in hand strap that should make carrying around the iPad while it’s in the case even easier. It has two different viewing angles as well, and DTTO didn’t design this case to feature a dedicated Apple Pencil holder.

The folio case from DTTO will go on sale at Amazon beginning Tuesday, October 8. It will only be available in one color.
