Apple has released a minor software update to macOS Mojave in an effort to patch a lingering software bug.

On Thursday, Apple launched a Supplemental Update to macOS Mojave 10.14.6. This is a minor update in general, and it’s aimed specifically at fixing a primary issue: a lingering software bug that can affect the performance of the wake from sleep feature. The bug could cause some Macs to not wake from sleep as they should.

The macOS Mojave 10.14.6 Supplemental Update fixes an issue that may prevent certain Macs from waking from sleep properly.

To update, Mac owners simply need to open the System Preferences app, then open “Software Update” and follow the onscreen instructions.

Apple just launched macOS Mojave 10.14.6 to the public just before the end of July.
