1,000 US Best Buy stores now provide expert service and repairs for Apple products

Apple today announced a partnership with Best Buy for expanded repair service.

Nearly a thousand Best Buy stores in the US now provide repair services for its products, including iPhones. According to Tara Bunch, Apple’s Vice President of AppleCare, broad availability of Apple-sanctioned expert service and repairs across every Best Buy store in the US will give customers more flexibility in terms of servicing their gadgets.

People in Yuma, Arizona; Sioux City, Iowa; Twin Falls, Idaho; Casper, Wyoming, Bismarck, North Dakota and elsewhere now have convenient access to Apple repairs. This announcement is in addition to the nearly 7,600 newly Apple-certified technicians who work in Best Buy’s Geek Squad to provide same-day iPhone repairs and other repair services for Apple products.

Like with all authorized service providers, repairs at Best Buy are performed by trained experts who use genuine Apple parts and every repair is backed by the company’s 1-year warranty.

Apple also highlighted the strength of its service provider network.

In addition to Apple retail stores, there are over 1,800 third-party Apple authorized service providers in the US, all of which are using parts certified for safety, quality and reliability. This is three times as many locations as three years ago, meaning eight out of ten Apple customers will be within 20 minutes of an authorized Apple service provider, the firm said.
