Apple seeds second beta of iOS 12.4 to developers

Apple on Monday seeded the second beta of iOS 12.4 to developers. Registered developers can install the update via each platform’s respective OTA mechanism, or through Apple’s Developer Center.

Apple restarted the beta cycle just days after rolling out iOS 12.3 and a slew of other updates to the public. That set of releases brought about the new TV app and the new Channels streaming feature.

We didn’t spot any new features in the first 12.4 beta, but the fact that it’s a 12.x update suggests it’ll bring about more than just bug fixes. There has been some speculation that it’s related to Apple Card.

Nevertheless, we are installing beta 2 and will be sure to report back with anything worth note. And as always, if you spot something we’ve missed, tell us about it down in the comments below.
