Apple Pay chief Jennifer Bailey to deliver keynote at the leading payments tech event

Jennifer Bailey, Apple Pay’s Vice President, is scheduled to deliver the keynote speech at TRANSACT, the world’s largest payments technology show taking place April 30 – May 2, 2019, in Las Vegas’s Mandalay Bay Convention Center.

According to the announcement, Bailey, who leads the Apple Pay team, will deliver the keynote address that will discuss how Apple is bringing customers and merchants an easy, convenient and secure payments experience. TRANSACT takes place April 30 – May 2, 2019, in the Mandalay Bay Convention Center, Las Vegas.

Bailey was quoted as saying:

Apple Pay launched in 2014 and is supported across the iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch and Mac devices. The secure mobile payments feature is currently supported in 26 markets worldwide with over 5,200 banking partners. And with a peer-to-peer feature called Apple Pay Cash, people can make personal payments to one another through the Messages app.

Apple Pay support extends to the Wallet app for loyalty programs and contactless student ID cards at Duke, the University of Oklahoma and the University of Alabama. The Wallet app even lets you take public transit in 12 cities worldwide, like Tokyo, Beijing, Shanghai and London.
