Mophie unveils battery cases for latest iPhones with Qi wireless charging, Lightning port access

Accessory maker Mophie today announced a new line of battery cases for iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max and iPhone XR which will be available to purchase in the first quarter of this year.

Leaked in March 2018, this new battery case from Mophie gives you extra juice when you need it at the push of a button while letting you charge your device wirelessly, using any Qi-compatible wireless charger. It provides up to 25 hours of total talk time for the iPhone X/XS models and up to 31 hours of total talk time on the iPhone XS Max and iPhone XR models.

Moreover, you get full access to the Lightning port when the case is on, meaning you can easily plug in your Lightning EarPods or other wired headphones and listen to some tunes, take calls and do other stuff while charging the phone at the same time.

The case has polycarbonate exterior with raised corners which provide impact protection and keep the display safe against scratching and other screen damage. It also includes four LED lights on the back to indicate the current charge level of the built-in battery.

In addition to support for Qi wireless charging, the accessory features a USB-C port for charging the internal battery. And with priority charging support, this case smartly passes wireless and wired power to your iPhone first before recharging its own battery.

The new Juice Pack Access cases for iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max and iPhone XR are priced at $119.95 each in the United States, or €119.95 in Europe. They will be available to order sometime in the first quarter of 2019 through the Mophie website.

the product comes in a variety of colors, including Black, Stone, Gold and Dark Red for iPhone X, iPhone XS and iPhone Xs Max and Black, Blue; and Red for the iPhone XR series.
