First Apple sanctioned iPhone X video previews begin hitting YouTube

Apple recently invited a few YouTubers to spend some limited hands-on time with iPhone X at an event in New York, an interesting change in PR strategy from iPhone launches in the past.

YouTubers “Soldier Knows Best”, “Highsnobiety”, “Boredatwork”,  “The iCollection”, “Fashion Magazine” and others have now shared their videos that appear to have been recorded at an Apple concept store. Without further ado, here they are embedded right below for your viewing pleasure.

These quick video walkthroughs do a nice job providing a break down of the marquee new features of iPhone X, including Animoji, advanced augmented reality capabilities, the new Face ID facial recognition system, enhanced camera abilities and so forth.

Notably, these are just early impression videos rather than full-blown reviews (which we expect to drop around Thursday when Apple should lift the iPhone X review embargo).

The device is scheduled to land on store shelves on Friday, November 3.
