Apple told The Loop’s Jim Dalrymple that it is extending USB-C accessory price cuts from end of the year to March 31, 2017.

Responding to a flurry of complaints targeting the new MacBook Pro, the company originally said a month and a half ago that it would temporarily cut the prices on USB -C adapters and peripherals it sells in its stores through the end of the year.

As a quick reminder, here are the USB-C adapters included in the price reduction:

  • USB-C to USB Adapter (from $19 to $9)
  • Thunderbolt 3 to Thunderbolt 2 Adapter (from $49 to $29)
  • USB-C to Lightning Cable (1m) (from $25 to $19)
  • USB-C to Lightning Cable (2m) (from $35 to $29)
  • USB-C Digital AV Multiport Adapter (from $69 to $49)
  • USB-C VGA Multiport Adapter (from $69 to $49)

The notebook’s lack of any other ports aside from USB-C/Thunderbolt 3 has angered some consumers with legacy USB peripherals. To assuage their concerns, Apple is now extending price cuts until the end of March 2017.
