Badland, the highly visual iPhone and iPad action adventure game with a distinctively eerie atmosphere, is celebrating 20 million players with the latest ‘Daydream’ update.

Packing in ten bizarre single player levels, ‘Daydream’ brings the number of single player levels in the game to a full hundred. You’re also getting thirty new missions and five brand new achievements to keep you glued to the screen.

And in wishing its loyal fans a Merry Christmas and a Happy New year, developer Frogmind has decided to give the Daydream level pack for free, but for a limited time.

After the promotional period, ‘Daydream’ levels will be available as a one-time 99-cent In-App Purchase, just like the previous ‘Doomsday’ level pack.

It’s cool that the new levels levels can be played using SNORF, one of the multiplayer characters in Badland.

I’m a huge fan of Badland. If you, like me, can’t get enough of this atmospheric action adventure game, you’ll be pleased to learn that developers have promised to make 2015 “the most epic Badland year yet” as “we are working on multiple Badland games.”

Badland 2.5 changelog:

  • 10 brand new Daydream levels
  • 30 new missions
  • 5 new achievements
  • Journey through the new bizarre Daydream levels with the ‘SNORF’ character

Badland is the #1 most downloaded game in 28 countries with an average App Store rating of 4.7 out of 5.
