When you talk about third-party Twitter clients, two offerings tend to come up first: Tweetbot and Twitterrific. But there are several other good options available, including Echofon, which just received a significant update today.
Released as version 7.2.5, the update brings about a number of improvements including an all-new profile design, with profile headers and better support for viewing push notifications. And it brings back photo filters to the iPhone…
Here’s the 7.2.5 change log:
What’s New in Version 7.2.5
– New profile design with profile headers!
– Upload your own profile header when editing your profile
– Re-introducing photo filters on iPhone
– Better support for viewing push notifications
– Multiple bug fixes and stability improvements
For those who haven’t tried Echofon yet, it’s worth checking out. It’s a well-rounded Twitter client that offers a beautiful iOS 7-like design and has some features that you can’t find in most other third-party clients including photo filters.
If you’re interested, you can find Echofon Pro in the App Store, both the iPhone and iPad, for $4.99. It’s worth noting that there is also a free version of Echofon, which you can find here, but it was not updated today alongside the Pro version.
