PullAll adds pull to refresh to every WebView

PullAll

PullAll is a new jailbreak tweak that allows you to add the same pull to refresh functions from the stock Mail app to any WebView. This means that you can add pull to refresh to any apps that use WebView, including Safari, Twitter, Reeder, and more.

Along with PullAll’s functionality, the animation, too, is pulled directly from the Mail app. PullAll can also be customized to your liking by means of a handy preference pane. Check inside for a few more details as to how it’s all put together…

PullAll plays nice with Reeder’s WebView

As mentioned, and as you can see form the screenshot above, PullAll allows you to use pull to refresh in any app using WebView. The screenshot above is from Reeder, a popular RSS client. Reeder includes a WebView for viewing RSS items in an in-app browser. A simple pull to refresh will perform a refresh on the browser view.

As you may have already guessed, the actual pull to refresh icon can be customized with different colors. The preference panel features RGB sliders to create a limitless amount of colors. Along with that, the settings include options for retaining or discarding the “Pull to Refresh” text, and the ability to exclude specific apps from using PullAll.

All in all, I find that this is a handy tweak to have. Don’t be fooled into thinking that this will add pull to refresh to every app you use, though. Again, PullAll will only work for apps that feature a WebView.

If you want to try PullAll, then scoot over to Cydia’s BigBoss repo where it can be downloaded for $1.00. Let me know what you think about it in the comment section below.
