iPad mini mod unveils new aluminum Keyboard Case

Black Friday is this week, meaning that the holidays are once again almost upon us. And for those still trying to figure out what to get that special someone, the new iPad mini seems to be a popular choice.

But what do you do if that person already has the tablet? Fortunately, accessories for the device are finally starting to surface. In fact, the folks over at iPad mini mod just unveiled a new keyboard case…

MacRumors points to the new iPad mini Keyboard Case from iPad mini mod. It’s very thin, and made from aluminum with a high-grade finish, matching the design, look and feel of Apple’s new tablet.

The case’s built-in physical keyboard connects to the iPad via Bluetooth, and allows for fast, responsive typing. And don’t worry, even with the case on you’ll still have access to all iPad controls and ports.

The case runs on a 160 mAh rechargeable lithium polymer battery, and iPad mini mod says it will last several weeks on a single charge. It also has built-in magnets for a Smart Cover-like on/off function.

But perhaps the most impressive thing about the Keyboard Case is its price tag. At $40, it’s half the price of a similar mini case from Belkin . If you’re interested, you can find it on iPad mini mod’s website.
