Showyou: millions of web videos in one place

You probably already know this, but there’s tons of good videos on the web. Funny videos, informative videos, sappy videos, viral videos — they’re everywhere.

But that’s the problem, they’re everywhere. You have to hunt them down one by one, site by site to find them. Unless, of course, you have the Showyou app…

For those who haven’t used the app before, it’s essentially a cross between a more organized version of YouTube, and Flipboard. It aggregates videos from around the web, and presents them to you in a number of engaging ways.

Browse the day’s most popular videos, view clips you’re friends are watching, or simply sort them by website. The latter is my favorite because if I’m looking for a laugh, I can easily find one in videos from Funny or Die or The Conan Show.

Showyou also works with AirPlay, meaning you can stream whatever video you are watching to your Apple TV. And thanks to the latest update, the app can now multitask, so you can check your email without messing up the video stream.

The bottom line is, if you like watching web videos, you will love Showyou. It’s available in the App Store, and yes it’s free.
