AppsCenter: Launch Apps Directly From iOS 5’s Notification Center

It's been a little over 24 hours since iOS 5 was released, and already, the jailbreak devs are putting in work. Case in point: AppsCenter, from jailbreak developer, Filippo Bigarella.

AppsCenter is a jailbreak widget that allows you to launch apps directly from Notification Center. In fact, this can ultimately become your de facto method for launching apps.

iPhone 4S Pre-Orders Sell Out on All US Carriers

iPhone 4S pre-orders on all three U.S. carriers have sold out. Apple recently announced that it had sold a record-breaking 1 million iPhone 4S units over launch weekend, with AT&T accounting for 200,000 of those orders.

After the first day of pre-order availability, shipping estimates fell worldwide to 1-2 weeks. Those that were fortunate to pre-order before stock ran out will have the iPhone 4S delivered tomorrow.

UltraSn0w iPhone Unlock for iOS 5 to Be Released Tomorrow

Speaking of unlocking the iPhone, MuscleNerd just confirmed that an iOS 5 compatibility update to the unlock tool will be released tomorrow, after the planned MobileSubstrate update.

Of course, UltraSn0w will only work for 01.59.00, 04.26.08, 05.11.07, 05.12.01, 05.13.04, and 06.15.00 basebands. If your baseband is different from these, you will not be able to use UltraSn0w to unlock until the Team figures out a new exploit, which may take a while...
