Apple has seeded the first iOS 9.2.1 beta for iOS devices to developers. The beta ships with build number 13D11, and comes eight days after the public release of iOS 9.2 back on December 8th.

The download is now available for iPads, iPhones, and the iPod touch on Apple’s Developer Member Center. No change details are currently available, but we will update you once details emerge.

As indicated by its minor version number increase, this is likely a small bug fix release, and as such, Apple may not even release change details for the update. Last week’s release of iOS 9.2 was significant and featured a lengthy change log, so it’s possible that the changes brought to the table with that release warranted a few bug fixes.

Yes please 🙁 this is all I’m waiting for I’m stuck on iOS 9.1! First time I’ve ever been stuck without a jailbreak!!!!

Well just update to 9.2 then. It’s not gonna make a difference. No JB team is going to go, “aw everyone’s updated to 9.2. Lets release for 9.1 ONLY anyway and get a bunch of hate!”

Hopefully this doesn’t stay in beta long. Would suck so much if this ends up patching the jailbreak upon release.

I think Apple found a trick that will prevent hackers to release jailbreak, “Always release new beta and they will keep waiting”

  • thats fast, although i did’t face any bug with iOS 9.2 so far

Don’t worry guys, hopefully the jailbreak developers are just standing by for Apple to do this and then release a jailbreak, hopefully by (or around) Xmas. 🙂

  • Maybe it fixes the Kardashian’s Lardass

not so rude but I do not think Apple cares about jailbreak anymore, because it’s jailbreak of all electronic stuff that, ps, xbox, pc all mob. so why should Apple worry all the time and make the same mistake? I think those are just new updates and it just takes time to create new jailbreak again
