Facebook on Thursday issued a small update to its Messenger app for the iPhone and iPad, bringing out additional features to touch up the photos you take within the software using the built-in camera feature.
Now available in the App Store at no cost, Facebook Messenger 16.0 fixed an issue with sending messages while introducing a pair of new controls to adjust the focus and lighting of photos you take in the app.
The much-welcomed photo-editing features are in addition to doodles and photo captions added last month.

The social networking behemoth recently launched a standalone Groups app, is kicking its drone business into high gear and rolled out a new Privacy Checkup tool to help users understand who can see their posts and other information they share on Facebook.
Moreover, the company is reportedly readying Facebook@Work, a brand new service to let business users collaborate on projects and connect with professional contacts through group chats and document collaboration with co-workers.
The 43.7-megabyte universal app requires an iPhone, iPod touch or iPad with iOS 7.0 or later.
