Resized NoLowPowerAlert Featured

The low power alerts that pop up at the most inopportune times when using your iPhone need to die. At least that’s according to developer hiroshit, the creator of a new jailbreak tweak dubbed NoLowPowerAlert.

NoLowPowerAlert is an extremely simple tweak with no options to configure. It allows you to completely disable the low power alerts that pop up on your iOS device when your battery hits 20 or 10 percent of remaining power. Have a look at our walkthrough inside to see how it works in action.

Since there are no settings to configure for NoLowPowerAlert, the tweak is a simple install-and-go affair. Once it’s installed, you should no longer receive those annoying pop-up alerts when your battery is waning. This does, of course, mean that you’ll have to be a bit more diligent when it comes to managing your battery, but you knew that already.

If you want to try NoLowPowerAlerts, you can find it free of charge on Cydia’s BigBoss repo. Let me know what you think about it in the comments down below.

Is LowPowerBanner supported on iOS 7? I prefer it over this because I get rid of the annoying pop-up message, but still get warned through a banner message. It says iOS 5 and 6 only πŸ™

No. Jeff is using iOS 6 device with iOS 7 theme πŸ™‚

    Use NoAnnoyance by _pNre

Does it work? It says beta

        works splendidly

      • Such splendid, much wow.

A must have for older iPod touches. When their batteries get weaker they’ll show the low battery warning message like 10-20 times before they are actually fully drained.

      ikr? Really annoying.
      iPod 4 & 5
2.5 year old iPod 4. So yeah, battery problems. I find if I do “exercise” it by using it until it auto shuts down, charge it back up to full, then use it until it shuts down again, and keep doing this for about a week, I noticed a somewhat better battery life. Don’t start it back up and use it again though after it auto shuts down.

This is good but not practical in the long term. I’d rather change the threshold to a lower value like 3% like I used to instead of removing them altogether and then have your device shut down abruptly. I’d rather get the ‘stupid alerts’ at the right time.

Finally. I hate the pop ups. When I’m playing a game, like Doodle Jump, it pops up and I can’t see, and sometimes lose. Or, if it’s heavily weighted down with other applications open and it pops up, sometimes it lags too much and says the game was interrupted.
So much for “it just works”.. ‘-‘

If apps can’t deal with battery notifications then they aren’t worth your trouble. Apple includes events for thing like battery alerts so there’s no reason an app or game shouldn’t be able to deal with it…

instead of a pop up, there should be a banner on top just like for other notifications.
i hate pop ups. they are bad design. whenever i am playing clash of clans and raiding a village, pop up kills my raid πŸ™

      • Jonathan

I thought of that too. I’d be happy with that as well.

What’s the tweak called that with I swipe down on the top, and instead of showing the little arrow for NC, it shows the status bar?

    • Nelson

Status tab, don’t think it’s been updated for ios7 though

      • Jonathan

        thank you πŸ˜€

  • Aleandro green

i actually want to do the opposite to this but i cant remember how. can someone tell me where i need to go in ifile to change the message to whatever i want it to be?

  • tw23777

you can do this without a jailbreak too.. lol

    • Kenrick Fernandes

      rreally how πŸ™‚

  • ChildishGambinoGotThatSwagger

is there a tweak to disable the charging sound? I hate when my phone vibrates when I charge.

    • Take off, vibrate and put volume low.

  • deepdvd

    22 is bad? I don’t think so.
