You must watch this live action television commercial for Electronic Arts’ Need for Speed: Most Wanted, an open-world racing game – it will totally make your day. The racing sessions have you fighting the cops and the trailer depicts that.

I instantly fell in love with the spaghetti western type soundtrack. And don’t you just love how they pixelated the finger the driver gave to the cops? Thank actor/writer/director Jon Favreau for that, he’s behind the ad.

Developed by Criterion Games and published by Electronic Arts, Need for Speed: Most Wanted files as the nineteenth title in the long-running series, picking up on the Most Wanted IP rather than the Hot Pursuit reboot that Criterion developed previously…

Need for Speed: Most Wanted is up for release in North America on November 30. Australia will have to wait until November 1 and Europe the day after. The game will be available on the PlayStation 3, PlayStation Vita and Xbox 360 gaming consoles, in addition to Windows PCs, Android devices and – of course – Apple’s iOS platform.

A version for the iPhone and iPad (seen in a clip below), being developed by Firemonkeys, boasts dynamic physics-based collisions for realistic visual damage, cop takedowns, high speed chases and much more.

Vehicles at your disposal include classy cars like the Dodge Challenger SRT8 392, the Maserati GranTurismo MC Stradale, the Porsche 911 Carrera S and many more. Need for Speed: Most Wanted is scheduled to hit iOS devices on October 30.

Aren’t you already on the edge of your seat?

  • iHamzaDev

That Ford Focus just came out of no where and just gave the middle finger. LMFAO

  • That was awsome

  • I’m saving for this 🙂 Hope it will be around <—- $4.99

    • Hmm… Not sure if that’s a good thing or not. Seems like they’re really running out of ideas.

  • But wait, wasn’t Most Wanted already a game? Or is this a re-release?

    • Similar to how Hot Pursuit was a couple years ago. New game, same title.

  • Erny Carrillo

Please fix a typo… Oct 30. You have down nov 30. Please fix Christian! Thanx.

  • cruzcontrol1001

    • Falk M.

      That’s my chance…
I’ll just say I got official endorsement from EA, send any bills for repairs to Electronic Arts HQ.

  • Doesn’t it drop October 30, not November 30(north America)?

  • This is the first NFS I have been overly excited for since Underground 2. I cant f*cking wait.

  • Thomas

Awesome indeed. But the game graphics started @ 1:36 only, right?

  • Hasan51h

the release date is Oct 30 for North America and November 2nd for Europe

  • Aleksander Azizi

i hope the graphics are the same on Xbox/PS3 and iOS version, Please EA, dont do as you did with your other games for iOS, cuz the graphics suck compared to the oiginal Xbox/PS3 versions.

    • pawfyd

You have no idea about games and technical aspects of your phone and those consoles, do you?

      • Aleksander Azizi

Uhm, if you are trying to say it’s impossible to do, you are very wrong mister.
Look at RR 2 (and 3), Infinity Blade (1,2 & DNGN) and the Unreal Engine 4, oh it is Possible. Atleast they can make it better then NFS Hot Pursuit, the graphics and controls are horrible (in my apinion).

  • and what does this have to do with the iphone community?

  • maurid

Deja vu, or I already had a NfFS: Most Wanted in the past.
