Aicon: add multiple layers of special effects to your Home screen

Aicon is a recently released tweak, which allows you to add one or more special effects to your Home screen app icons. There are nearly a dozen effects to choose from, and each effect can be stacked to create a greater variety of customizations.

With effects like Sepia, Glass, Black & White, Invert, Gloom, and Xray, Aicon is a surefire way to create an original look on your iPhone’s Home screen. Take a look at our video walkthrough inside for more details…

The really cool thing about Aicon, is that you can add more than one effect at the same time. For instance, I can add the Saturate effect, and then afterwards add the Glass effect to create Saturated Glass. The possibilities are nearly endless, as the ability to stack multiple effects leads to thousands of potential combinations.

But having so many special effects at you disposal doesn’t come free of charge; Aicon will set you back $1.99 on Cydia’s BigBoss repo for the privilege.

What do you think? Would you pony up two bucks to customize your iPhone’s Home screen in this manner?
