Notificator has finally hit the Cydia store for the price of $0.99. This is a jailbreak tweak that allows you to create custom banner notifications for various system events.

If you’ve been anticipating Notificator ever since reading our preview of the tweak, then head over to Cydia’s BigBoss repo where you can download it today.

Be sure to let us know what you think about it after giving it a try.

  • Jeff do you read the comments? πŸ˜€

  • Just bought it! πŸ™‚

  • This tweak is weak.

Notifications are suppose to be for things you do not know…. a new tweet, calendar reminder, your turn in a game, etc. Why would you need a notification that you just plugged in your phone??? I know that, I did it. Same with “You just took a screenshot” or “you just turned on WiFi” Really….. no kidding….

    • Hi,

You are not forced to enable these notifications !
Maybe you don’t find any utility for the power event for example but I thought that it could be useful for people who use their phones in their cars with accessories for example.

I did add some others events like when you’re joining a network or when you’re switching between 3G or Edge areas. And as I said in the description of the tweak, Notificator is constantly evolving πŸ˜‰

good job on the tweak man

      • Thanks πŸ˜‰

dont buy it if you dont like it, stop complaning.

      • right….. stop complaining…….. kind of like this?

“u can use siriboard, and acticvate other apps and thats overwrites this tweaks πŸ™ gayyyyy”

Saying the tweak was weak was harsh and I apologize to the dev McNight (adam). If it is useful to you, great. I appreciate what most of the Devs put out, but I do stand by my comments’ points. Some Devs are just there for a quick cash grab after a tweak gets promoted and are done. The tweak stops working, buggy, or wasn’t at all as advertised. We have all experienced it.

“I did add some others events like when you’re joining a network or when you’re switching between 3G or Edge areas” This is what I was talking about….this is very useful! Coming up with notifications that I did not know were going on or things that i didn’t enable/disable. Looking forward to see what Notificator becomes in the future……..

        lol nice nice tushay

      • No problem πŸ˜‰

Thanks for your opinion, ‘Adam’ :p

    • Isn’t the whole point of Jailbreaking, to do what YOU want with YOUR device? STFU if you think this tweak is weak. I think a few of these notification banners are worth $0.99. Now, I won’t be using some of them…but who says you have to use all of the options? The author is just giving people CHOICE…which is the reason I jailbreak. I appreciate the author’s decision to include as many options are possible!

    • You forgot you can tap on the banner which will take you to an item straight away. For example: I take lots of screeshots and I send them off straight away, so for me it could be handy.

So it’s not just a banner that tells you what you already know, but an active banner, that you can use.

Looking forward to custom banners.. whatever that is πŸ˜›

  • it crashes a lot, any idea or known issue?
nice tweak, would love to see the future updates…

Ah, very cool. It reminds me a lot of how the Android notification center works, but that’s not a bad thing. I’ll have to give this a try.

  • Can it notified when my girlfriend is cheating?

    • Haha, coming soon πŸ˜‰

i’ve bought this based on Jeff’s demo a few days ago, if it doesn’t cut it, so what, $1 in some devs pocket for his hard work is better than being wasted in mine.

  • which tweak allows you to have more than one page in notification center? and the one that allows you to have your twitter timeline in the notification center?

  • i don’t find it useful for me. >.< and it is not real full customization. it might get better but until then, i'll wait for an alternative which is better.
