Workflow, the powerful software that makes it relatively simple to automate iOS by chaining multiple actions together, has picked up a Today widget and support for Apple Health actions in its most recent update which hit the App Store this morning.
In addition to the ability to activate your saved workflows directly from the Notification Center's Today view, Workflow 1.3 for iOS has gained yet another useful feature to back up and synchronize your workflows across multiple devices.
Popular iOS app Workflow announced on Tuesday support for the Apple Watch, to bring automation to activities on your wrist.
"Workflows automate things you do every day by connecting your favorite apps and services together. Now workflows can help you do less with your phone, and more from your wrist," Workflow wrote on its new Apple Watch website.Â

Although I've long admired the iPad-centric work ethic of individuals like MacStories' Federico Viticci, I could never fully commit to working from my iPad due to the perceived amount of steps needed to get things done. Yes, much automation could be done prior to Workflow—apps like Pythonista and Editorial proved as much—but Workflow is venturing into brand new territory. Not only is it arguably the most powerful automation tool available for iOS, it makes implementing automation accessible to mere mortals.
