Woz Up?

Our favorite Apple walrus, Steve Wozniak, gave a mini sized press conference in Valencia, Spain last week. It's hard to imagine the big, cheerful fuzz king doing anything in small proportions, however the entire YouTube clip lasts just over 3 minutes. Of the topics "The Woz" was asked about and answered were, Apple & Google, the iPhone 4 antenna, Steve Jobs, and a feel-good recollection of his success as a young-spirited Apple enthusiast.

While there is nothing earth shattering revealed, (except maybe that beard ), it's nice seeing the big guy continuing to take his jolly approach to whatever comes his way. My favorite part of the clip comes at 2:10 when Wozniak states "While I do receive a small salary from Apple, I do virtually no real work". Well damn, that must be hard to get out of bed for each day. /sarcasm. No wonder he is always smiling.

How to Watch Netflix Movies on Your iPhone 4

A few weeks ago we learned how to watch Netflix on a jailbroken iPhone. Unfortunately this hack doesn't work for the iPhone 4 but some smart guy over at ModMyI figured out how to tweak it so you can watch Netflix on an iPhone 4.

UPDATE: This post is outdated. Netflix now has its official iPhone app in the App Store. Click here for more info.

Step 1: Download the Netflix app for iPad to iTunes.

Step 2: Right click on the Netflix app you just downloaded and select 'Show in Windows Explorer' if you're on a PC, or 'Show in Finder' if you're on a Mac.

Step 3: Rename Netflix 1.0.4.ipa to Netflix 1.0.4.zip and extract the zip file to your desktop.

Step 4: Look for the Payload folder inside the extracted folder. In there you will find the Netflix.app folder.

Step 5: SSH into your iPhone and copy the Netflix.app folder to /private/var/stash/Applications/.

Step 6: Change the permission on the Netflix.app folder to 755.

Step 7: Reboot your iPhone.

Step 8: Now go to the App Store from your iPhone and download Perfect Browser. Open the app, go to the settings and select Safari iPad under Desktop Rendering.

Step 9: Still in Perfect Browser, navigate to Netflix.com, login, and find a movie to watch instantly. Perfect Browser will close and QuickTime will start playing your movie.

Done. That wasn't too hard, was it?

Simply Amazing: iPhone Controlled AR Drone

This is probably the coolest thing I've seen an iPhone do! Thanks to its built-in wifi system, you can control the AR.Drone using the built-in accelerometer in your iPhone. It also comes with 2 cameras that let you see what you're doing. Seriously, isn't this amazing?

The AR.Drone is exclusively available from Brookstone only. To control your drone, you will have to download the free application from the App Store.

It sells for $300, which isn't cheap but might be well worth it for gadget lovers.

The Banned iPhone 4 Outtakes

I really can't get enough of these videos. After the banned iPhone 4 promo video, the banned iPhone 4 antenna video, and the banned iPad promo video, here are the outtakes. These guys are on a roll. Hopefully they don't lose their cool.

[Thanks John for the tip]
