As we continue to spiral more closely to the Nintendo Switch 2 announcement and launch, Nintendo is heating up the news cycle. Last week the gaming company released the new “Nintendo Today!” App for iPhone. Nintendo promises to engage users with updated information and goodies, including a few gaming inspired wallpapers.
In January, Nintendo gave us our very first look at the upcoming Nintendo Switch 2 in a teaser video following what seemed like an endless flurry of nearly accurate leaks. One of the major announcements in that teaser was that we’d get more details about the Nintendo Switch on April 2nd – that’s next week.
This past week, Nintendo unveiled the much anticipated next generation console which will be simply called “Switch 2.” A playful video walks the viewer around new hardware, which is an upgraded version of the original Switch console system. Along with the hardware reveal, new versions of popular franchises are expected, including all new Mario adventures. The future possibilities led to these Switch 2-inspired Mario wallpapers.
Nintendo Switch 2 leaks and rumors have been circulating across the Internet in full force lately — so much so that Nintendo, a company known for keeping its projects well concealed under secrecy until launch, had no real option but to break the silence.
