Boost Mobile to begin offering iPhone 6 and 6 Plus next week with $100 discount

Boost Mobile will begin selling the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus next week. CNET reports that the two handsets will become available at the carrier starting Friday, October 17, with a $100 discount on full retail pricing offered on all models.

For those unfamiliar with the provider, Boost Mobile is a prepaid division of Sprint that offers no-contract service for a low monthly fee. So users pay full price for their devices, and in return get cellular plans starting at $35 per month.

Back in October, Sprint prepaid subsidiary Boost Mobile announced that it would begin offering the iPhone 5s and 5c on November 8. And with the launch date drawing closer, the carrier has issued a press release with further details.

This will be the first time that Boost has offered the popular smartphone, and it's celebrating the occasion by taking $100 of each of the handsets. So you can get an iPhone 5c, sans contract, for as low as $449, and a 5s as low as $549...

Not to be outdone by fellow prepaid telco Virgin Mobile, Boost Mobile is said to soon start carrying Apple's iPhone 5s and iPhone 5c handsets. According to EVLeaks, the Irvine, California headquartered Boost Mobile should start selling both new iPhones soon on its no-contract unlimited monthly plan with Shrinking Payments.

Again, Boost is a prepaid carrier so they'll be likely selling full-price, unsubsidized handsets with plans probably starting at around $50 per month, decreasing every six months until the plan pricing hits $35...
