DIY: the $100 iPhone Stand

It had been a while since we saw one of these creative DIY iPhone stands. While doing my morning reading I came across this video on TUAW showing designer Enrique Pardo turning a $100 bill into an origami iPhone stand.

Of course this would perfectly work with a $1 bill but we ain't that cheap ;)

Aluminum Jacket for iPhone is Army Strong

If the Hummer was an iPhone case, it would probably be the Abee Aluminium Jacket for iPhone. This is definitely not going to cater to everybody's needs but I'm sure there is a market for this case, maybe in the army?

Japanese company Abee came out with an aluminum case called the Type 01 that reminds us of the Vapor case, just a bit more rough looking...

iPhone Case Giveaway

I was doing a little bit of cleaning on my desk today and I found this iPhone case for 3GS. It was hiding under a pile of papers and other unnecessary documents.

I have absolutely no idea how this case made its way to my desk but since I don't use cases, I figured I'd give it away to one of you. Interested? Here is what you need to do to enter to win this case...

UPDATE: We got our winner! Congrats to Edward Smith (check your Facebook DM). We'll have more giveaways soon, so stay tuned ;)

A Handy iPhone Accessory to Carry Around

This has to be the handiest iPhone accessory you can easily carry around. It's a little USB iPhone charger that you can attach to your keychain.

It's called the flipSYNC and it will charge and/or sync your iPhone while on the road. It's so small and convenient that it allows you to always have your cable around...

Must Have iPad Accessory: the iArm

Here is a must-have accessory for every iPad owner out there: the iArm.

Delta Technology presents the iArm, the forearm mount that gives you, well, an extra arm.  Just 4.5 lbs and fully adjustable, the iArm lets you take your favorite gadget with you.  And with the optional "multi-mount", you can secure up to three items at once.  Attaches to tablet PCs, eReaders, remotes & more!

Yes, this is obviously a fake... but real. You can get the iArm box for $8. A great idea to fool a friend.

What Do You Think About My All Black iPhone 4?

I recently ordered a decal for my MacBook Pro from LuckyLabs and they were kind enough to add a few items to my order for free. One of the freebies they gave me is their iPhone 4 Spectra Wrap, which I hurried to put on my iPhone because I thought it would give it a nice touch.

These wraps are pretty cheap. You get 3 of them in the colors you want for $10. It's easy to install and I do think it looks really good. There's however a little downside to it...

Bacon Case for iPad. Huh?

We had already seen the iPhone bacon case before. Now comes the iPad bacon case. Just as yummy looking, and still completely fat free.

You can get this delicious case on Etsy for about 60 bucks. That ain't cheap.

The Most Overpriced iPhone Dock Ever

I once bought a pair of retro Air Jordan that were strikingly ugly but nonetheless a one of kind product. I thought by owning these I was cool. Needless to say I was 16 years old.

Touch My iPhone highlights a new iPhone dock that may earn bonus points for creativity but puts my old tennis shoes to shame. The iRetrophone Skyliner mimics your grandmother's old stationary phone (the handset on the dock actually works) and offers the following description...

iBottleOpener: iPhone Case Meets Bottle Opener

It took 3 years for someone to create the perfect case for iPhone. One that would protect your iPhone and quench your thirst. A case so simple and obvious that it got me saying out loud "why didn't I think about that"?

Ladies and gentlemen, let me introduce you to the iBottleOpener, a little marvel of engineering and technology that will bring "a party in your pocket". Forget normal bottle openers, they are so 2009! For $19.95 you can get yourself an iBottleOpener that will sure be getting you some attention.

The big letdown is that it's only available for iPhone 3G and 3GS so far, but it's apparently coming to the iPhone 4 soon.

You know you want it.
