Heads up folks, Apple is giving away free copies of the popular Procreate Pocket app. You can find promo codes for the app, which normally retails for $2.99, within the ‘Stores’ section of the Apple Store app on iOS.
For those who aren’t familiar with it, Procreate Pocket is the iPhone version of the award-winning painting app. It uses the same 64-bit Silica engine as its bigger brother, and it includes the same great set of features.

On Thursday, during its VidCon keynote address, YouTube announced that it's updating its mobile app with a brand new live streaming option. This will allow users to easily broadcast and watch live video from within the app with little friction.

Late Thursday Apple announced it's discontinuing the Thunderbolt Display. In a statement provided to several news sites, the company said remaining inventory is still available through its retail channels and Authorized Resellers, but production has been stopped.

Citing supply chain sources, the outlet says the device will feature an updated proximity sensor, a relocated ambient light sensor and larger earpiece.

Spotify on Monday told The Telegraph that it now has more than 100 million monthly active users worldwide. But of that 100 million, only roughly 30 million or so are paid subscribers—so the ones that dole out ~$10 a month.
