Despite the fact that Apple released iOS 13 to the public on September 19, Apple has not only released one major update, but two minor updates for good measure.
Today sees the second update making its public debut, which brings iOS 13 to software version 13.1.2 after only launching a little less than two weeks ago. This is another minor software update in the grand scheme of things, just like iOS 13.1.1 before it, but it does come with important software tweaks and improvements.
According to Apple, there was a bug that would continue to show the progress bar even after an iCloud backup was finished. In addition to that, a bug could cause the camera not to work, which this software update addresses.

iOS 13.1.2 includes bug fixes and improvements for your iPhone. This update:
- Fixes a bug where the progress bar for iCloud Backup could continue to show after a successful backup
- Fixes an issue where Camera may not work
- Addresses an issue where the flashlight may not activate
- Fixes a bug that could result in a loss of display calibration data
- Fixes an issue where shortcuts could not be run from HomePod
- Addresses an issue where Bluetooth may disconnect on certain vehicles
Apple is also releasing iPad OS 13.1.2 along with iOS 13.1.2. This software update addresses issues with shortcuts not working properly with HomePod, as well as fixing the progress bar with iCloud backups.
