Some of the most popular editions in the iDB Wallpapers of the Week gallery feature gradient designs. A timeless experience, the seamless blending of a rainbows worth of colors never goes out of style. With the new Liquid Glass design pulling in wallpaper coloring, the new OS allows for even more influence at the users’ choice. The brand new “Fluted Gradients” wallpaper series takes advantage of these aesthetics.
Fluted Gradients wallpaper series
On his personal blog, in the “Haberdashery” (clever) section, BasicAppleGuy is hosting a Fluted Gradients series release for the whole month of February. In what appears to be an every-other-day release, the collection is updated with a new download for iPhone, iPad, and desktop. He promises an ultimate launch of 14 new designs for your favorite Apple devices.
Featured in our post today is just a tease of the series. Below, you can directly download a small set of the collection. We are highlighting two for iPhone, two for iPad, and one for desktop.
My favorite of the options below include the purple and green gradient for iPhone, followed by the pink, purple, and blue gradient for iPad. I really enjoy the rich, royal purple color, especially, as it is blended with other lighter colors in the palette.
I implore you to visit the Fluted Gradients February 2026 Edition post directly to download the above versions for all of your devices. More importantly, you will be able to download the upcoming releases as we continue through the month. Follow @BasicAppleGuy on X to be alerted when the newest options are available.
If you would like to influence the Wallpapers of the Week collection, please catch up with me via @jim_gresham on X or @jim_gresham@mastodon.social, where I curate the gallery. Follow along for mid-week downloads, sneak peeks, and general Apple banter. I’m really going to have a lot to say about this kitchen counter HomePod/iPad mashup situation that is possibly launching this spring!
