All the images featured here were taken by Brian, who goes by @brianovak on X and describes himself as ‘modern day Christlike figure.’ He regularly shares great pictures taken during walks through national parks, forests, mountains, and other such outdoor locations. When I looked at these snowy mountain top pictures on my X timeline, one of the first things that came to my mind was skiing, and secondly, for some reason, Hallmark Christmas movies.
The best thing about these wallpapers for me is the super clean blue sky, which, in addition to creating a peaceful contrast to the mountain’s imposing presence, makes the iPhone Lock Screen clock, top status bar, and widgets look super legible.
Another thing to note is that you can zoom and adjust these pictures accordingly, and a part of the iOS 26 Lock Screen clock will then hide behind the wallpaper, creating a super-nice effect, as evident in the screenshots below.

I spent eight years of my childhood in a boarding school in the hills, and such snowy mountain tops were a daily sight for me in the winter.
