In the Apple hobbyist community, it is common and fun to mock up potential future iterations of devices and OS updates. I’m a firm believer that jailbreaking, which allowed us to actually make iOS do what we wanted from concepts, informed future versions of the real iOS. Today’s Wallpaper of the Week downloads are fun, colorfully minimal iOS 19 concept wallpapers.
iOS 19 Concept Wallpapers
I was tipped to this collection by our own writer, @iAnkurThakur, who came across them on X. The iOS 19 concept wallpapers were created by @oxfus, a digital designer and YouTuber. After releasin a creative video of the upcoming iOS 19 potential upgrades, oxfus was asked by followers on Twitter for the backgrounds used in the video.
Check out the creative take on a would-be iOS 19 in the oxfus video:
I think it’s a fun take on what could be in future versions of iOS! Naturally, as iDB is a jailbreaking enthusiast community, I’m sure the customization recommendations in the video are welcomed.
Below is the collection of six wallpapers that appear in different places throughout the iOS 19 concept walkthrough. They are a vivid, pastel collection with minimal design elements other than overlapping, abstract shapes that cause a gradient effect throughout the background.
My favorite of the batch is featured first in the gallery below. With the pastel blues, greens, and even some purple, it creates a calming color palette and effect for a Home or Lock Screen. Light blue in the very background pulls everything together.
Like Ankur and Oxfus, you too can contribute to future iDB Wallpapers of the Week posts.
