Topaz Photo AI v3.0.0 launches with refreshed UI, new interface organization capabilities, & more…

Topaz Photo AI, an ace in the hole for many photographers that uses artificial intelligence to clean up blurry or noisy images, picked up an important update this past week to version 3.0.0 with some major improvements.

Topaz Photo AI UI refreshed with version 3.0.

The Topaz Photo AI team announced the latest update in a post shared to the company’s website, sharing that version 3.0.0 includes the following changes:

– Refreshed user interface with Topaz UI style
– Implemented drag and reorder enhancements
– Implemented basic preset functionality
– Implemented docking and undocking feature
– Enabled Text Recovery to be added multiple times
– Enabled Face Recovery to be added multiple times
– Enabled Adjust lighting for RAW images
– Enabled Balance color for RAW images
– Fixed Adjust lighting crash on M3 with macOS 14.4 and above
– Fixed switching models on De-noise not updating the preview
– Fixed export output suffix not matching enhancements order
– Added preference for RAW Adjust lighting strength
– Added camera profile for Panasonic G9M2
– Added noise profile for Sony ILCE-6700

The team’s major highlights in this update include the ability to save commonly used filter combinations into a single stack with your settings and selections baked into that save as a Preset. This makes it so you can easily reuse those settings again and again on other images for consistency.

Likewise, there are user interface improvements like docking and collapsing the floating control panel for easy access or making more room for your workflow. Additionally, you can re-order and combine enhancements in any order to choose what happens first in the editing chain.

Another change that I’m excited about personally is the ability to adjust the color balance and lighting for RAW files right inside of Topaz Photo AI using AI-based filters. You can do all of this in addition to RAW de-noise, providing a better end to your images.

The Topaz Photo AI team is far from finished, so if you’re interested in grabbing the latest version of the software from the team’s website, then it’s available for $199 for both Windows and macOS. We’re hopeful that we may eventually see this software come to the iPad at some point as well.
