Apple officially announced the forthcoming Worldwide Developer’s Conference for 2024. Coming June 10th, the five-day event will begin with a media presentation announcing updates to all operating systems. We celebrate with these new upgrades with WWDC 2024 event wallpapers for iPhone.

As noted in the announcement, there will be a limited in-person event at Apple Park, for specific groups of people. This on-campus experience will include a viewing of the keynote and additional activities. However, the remaining sessions will be held virtually.
While Apple historically talks through updates to all platforms, which now includes visionOS, iPadOS, macOS, tvOS, and watchOS, it is expected that iOS 18 will be the largest of the discussion. It is widely held that iOS 18 will include generative AI capabilities, possibly through Siri.
Personally, with a potentially decent upgrade to iPad Pro coming in May, I’m hoping there is a major update to iPadOS, which will continue to further blur the lines between iPadOS and macOS. I’d go so far to say, my preference would be an iPad that operates on iPadOS undocked, and converts to macOS when docked in the rumored new keyboard/trackpad case.
Naturally, the WWDC event is not always just software, but in recent history, simply getting through the OS updates in less than two hours has been challenging. Consequently, it would be rare to see any hardware make the main stage.
Celebrating the announcement, graphic artist and frequent iDB featured creator @AR72014 used the invitation to create a set of WWDC24 event wallpaper downloads for iPhone. Each offers a True Black #000000 background, which looks incredible on the iPhone OLED screens.
My favorite are the two, minimal Apple Park rings. The shining gradient contrasting the infinite dark background simply pops off the screen.
