Flora brings advanced system-wide UI colorization to the latest jailbreaks

One of the more common things that we see jailbreakers doing with their iPhones and iPads is modifying the color scheme of their operating system. Previously released jailbreak tweaks like Kaleidoscope by SparkDev and Spectrum by Skittyblock have made this possible, but now, iOS developer rosiepie is releasing a new jailbreak tweak called Flora that has been built for use on modern jailbreaks.

Flora examples.

Intended as a successor for the aforementioned jailbreak tweaks, Flora gives users the ability to colorize their iPhone or iPad in various ways. The tweak offers strict color options for users who want a simple two-tone finish across their user interface, as well as more flexible options that allow for more color features to be incorporated into the user interface.

In Simple Mode, Flora gives users the ability to choose two different colors that will be used across the entire user interface. By default, these colors have a 40% saturation influence and 20% lightness influence, but this can be modified later. There is no alpha influence in this mode at all.

In Advanced Mode, Florida gives users a more hands-on approach to colorizing their user interface by removing the two-color limit and providing options to setting Base Colors, System Colors, Dynamic Colors, Table Colors, and Other Colors, among other things. In this mode, there is an alpha influence derived from the color(s) you select.

Another interesting feature of Flora is that users can import and export colors. This unique feature means that you can have pre-determined colors from elsewhere and bring them into your iPhone or iPad, or that you can take those colors you’ve selected on your iPhone or iPad and move them to another machine to be imported later.

These options are all available in a dedicated preference pane in the Settings app post-installation, as depicted in the screenshot examples above.

Because Flora depends on libSandy, the color options you choose will be applied to virtually all your installed apps in real time. The tweak also requires the LbGcUniversal dependency to work properly.

If you’re interested in giving Flora a try for yourself, then you can currently purchase it for $1.49 from the Havoc repository by way of your favorite package manager app. The tweak supports jailbroken iOS & iPadOS 14, 15, 16, and 17 devices using the latest rootless jailbreaks.
