ElleKit tweak injection updated to v1.1.2 to fix problem with palera1n & meowbrek2 devices

ElleKit is the tweak injection method used by modern jailbreaks such as Dopamine and palera1n, but if you depend at all on the meowbrek2 re-jailbreaking utility and semi-untethered tool for arm64 devices running iOS & iPadOS 15.x, then you might want to read up on the latest update.

dhinakg announces ElleKit v1.1.2 release.

iOS developer @dhinakg announced the release of ElleKit v1.1.2 Wednesday afternoon by way of a post shared on X (formerly Twitter), noting that it would fix an issue that could occur if palera1n and meowbrek2 are each used on the same device and then palera1n is used to boot the device back up.

As this appears to be a problem with booting up semi-tethered with palera1n, @dhinakg recommends booting up semi-untethered with meowbrek2 and then upgrading to the latest version of ElleKit to remedy these issues.

It’s worth noting that meowbrek2 lead developer @dora2ios also recommends updating to the latest version of ElleKit, as it appears to be a confirmed fix. That seal of approval came by way of a post shared to the meowbrek2 Discord server:

To update to the latest version of ElleKit, all you have to do is open your favorite package manager app (for jailbroken devices), such as Sileo or Zebra, and refresh your sources. After doing so, the updated build should pop up so that you can download and install it at your whim.

As tweak injection is at the core of jailbreak tweak usage on jailbroken devices, it’s highly recommended that all users download and install the latest stable release as soon as they can to avoid any interruptions in their daily jailbreaking activities.
