RootHide Patcher released to make ordinary jailbreak tweaks compatible with RootHide jailbreak detection bypass

RootHide is a new jailbreak detection bypass platform for rootless jailbreaks that is currently available for the Dopamine iOS & iPadOS 15.0-15.4.1 jailbreak for arm64e devices, and it’s been all the rage recently.

RootHide Patcher released and receives first update.

Worthy of note, however, is the fact that the team just Wednesday released RootHide Patcher, a new utility that the team promised early on that automatically converts ordinary jailbreak tweaks into RootHide-compatible jailbreak tweaks that play nicely with the jailbreak detection bypass.

The announcement was first shared in a post via X (formerly Twitter) late Wednesday evening, and was followed by a small update that addressed an issue with .deb files being non-selectable on some devices and an issue where RootHide-converted tweaks couldn’t run.

This tool is necessary because not all jailbreak tweaks designed for rootless jailbreaks support RootHide. By using this tool, some jailbreak tweaks can be made compatible by way of conversion. This will be hit-or-miss depending on the tweak.

RootHide Patcher is a separate package from RootHide that can be found in the RootHide repository on a device that has been jailbroken with the RootHide version of the Dopamine jailbreak. If you are using this tool, then you can open the included version of Sileo or Zebra and refresh your sources to find it.

When using a jailbreak detection bypass such as RootHide, apps that would ordinarily detect that you are jailbroken and then refuse to function until you restore your device will not be able to detect your jailbreak, allowing you to continue using them as if you weren’t jailbroken to begin with.
