Pale offers a new look and feel for your jailbroken iPhone’s Status Bar

Lots of people use their iPhone and iPad jailbreaks as a means of changing the appearance of their operating system’s user interface, so we wouldn’t judge if you had a soft spot for tweaks and add-ons that boost the aesthetics of the Status Bar.

But assuming you were one of those folks, we think you might take an interest in a newly released Status Bar themecalled Pale by iOS developer gu3hi.

In the screenshot examples displayed above, you can see how Pale gives the Status Bar sublime elegance while still maintaining the utilitarian purpose of its indicator glyphs, including the cellular signal, Wi-Fi signal, network type, and battery level.

The theme continues to use cautionary colors to help the end user identify when their battery is running low, but disables colors in those user interfaces that would clash with the colors.

Using Pale requires the SnowBoard app on jailbroken devices. If you aren’t sure how to apply a theme with SnowBoard, then you can follow our step-by-step tutorial to get started.

If you’re interested in giving Pale a try, then you can purchase it for $0.99 from the Chariz repository via your favorite package manager app. The theme supports jailbroken iOS 12, 13, 14, 15, and 16 devices.
