Notifake let’s you spoof notifications from any app on your device

Have you ever wished that you could fake notifications from virtually any app on your iPhone or iPad? If you answered yes, then you’ll want to to check out a new and free jailbreak tweak called Notifake by iOS developer Matoi.

Notifake examples.

With Notifake, you can make phony notifications appear as if they’re coming from any app you have installed on your device. You can even publish those notifications with a delay or invoke them when you’re ready with an Activatoraction.

When you install Notifake, you’re going to find a dedicated preference pane in the Settings app where you can use AltList to choose whatever app(s) you want on your device and then begin assigning notifications to those app(s).

You’ll be able to configure title text, content text, delay the notification as long as you want for a timed release, or choose an Activator action so that you can invoke the notification on demand. You can e den publish the notification right then and there.

When a notification comes up, it looks and feels just like any of your other official notifications. Having said that, they blend right in and could fool just about anyone, which may be useful if you’re trying to evade an awkward social situation.

If you’re interested in giving Notifake a try, then you can download it for free from the Havoc repository via your favorite package manager app. The tweak supports jailbroken iOS 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, and 14 devices, which appears to exclude rootless iOS 15 and 16 jailbreaks.
